Bible Reading of the day (Jan. 10th)

Gen 23:1-24:51, Matt 8:1-17, Ps 9:13-20, Pr 3:1-6

Matthew 8: 17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
"He took up our infirmities
and carried our diseases."

Trust in Him, he took up all these. What a love!

Proverbs 3: 3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.

4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

A lesson we need to learn everyday: don't depend on our own understanding but trust in the Lord with ALL our hearts, let Him lead us.
